Both of my children swim with Charlotte, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her and her team highly enough. ❤️
Amelia started swimming with Charlotte at age 6, having never been able to swim independently and relying on float aids. Within just one month she was confidently swimming without them, and in just over a year she had progressed through all of her Swim England stages. She now swims for Southport Swim Club and absolutely loves every single session with Charlotte and her team. Even now at age 8, she continues to progress with every lesson, and her love for swimming has never faded. I truly believe so much of that comes down to the confidence, encouragement and passion Charlotte has instilled in her.
Rory started with Charlotte at just 18 months old as a very shy little boy. He is now 5 and has passed all 7 Swim England stages. His confidence has grown enormously, and he absolutely loves his lessons and is even comfortable enough to show his cheeky side (which he doesn’t often!)
What makes Charlotte so special is not just how brilliant she is at teaching swimming, but the way she genuinely cares about every child. She takes the time to understand each child as an individual, recognising that they all learn differently and have their own personalities, strengths and challenges. She knows exactly when to encourage, when to push them a little further and when they simply need reassurance and patience.
Both of my children adore Charlotte and her team, and they have created such a positive, supportive environment where my children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. Swimming is genuinely the highlight of their week and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything Charlotte has done for them.

I honestly cannot recommend Charlotte enough. 🩷

When my daughter first started swimming with Charlotte two years ago, she was incredibly shy, lacked confidence and was a complete beginner. From those very first lessons, Charlotte made her feel welcome, comfortable and, most importantly, believed in her.

With Charlotte’s patience, encouragement and exceptional teaching, we watched her confidence grow week after week. In just a year and a half, she progressed all the way from Stage 1 to Stage 10, becoming only the third five-year-old at Swim with Charlotte to achieve Stage 10 — something we are incredibly proud of.

Charlotte is an exceptional swimming teacher. She is patient, kind, welcoming and incredibly dedicated to every child she teaches. She has a wonderful ability to challenge children while still making them feel safe, supported and proud of what they are achieving. She doesn’t just teach children how to swim; she helps them believe in themselves.

My daughter is now just six years old and swims for Southport Swimming Club, and when I look back at the shy little girl who walked into her first lesson two years ago, the transformation is amazing. Her love of swimming, confidence in the water and determination have grown enormously, and Charlotte has played such a huge part in that journey.

We will always be incredibly grateful to Charlotte for recognising her potential, encouraging her and helping her become the confident little swimmer she is today. What started with a shy complete beginner has developed into a genuine passion for swimming.

Thank you, Charlotte, for everything you have done and continue to do. You truly are one of a kind, and any child lucky enough to be taught by you is in the very best hands. 🏊‍♀️🩷

Our daughter, Aubrey, started swimming with Charlotte three years ago as a complete beginner. Back then, she was incredibly anxious, spending her first few months crying and refusing to even get into the water. Charlotte was incredibly patient with her, working tirelessly for months to slowly build her confidence and encouraging her every single step of the way. Today, Aubrey swims for Southport Swimming Club and competes in galas across the North West. She still has weekly 1-to-1 sessions, but the focus has shifted to race techniques and perfecting her strokes. These lessons are the absolute highlight of her week, and she continues to learn something new every time. At just nine years old, she has achieved an incredible 11 County qualifying times and even a Regional time. None of this would have been possible without Charlotte’s constant support and encouragement. She goes above and beyond for every child she teaches, even attending galas in her own time just to support them—and you can absolutely guarantee she is the one cheering the loudest. We can’t thank her enough for everything she does.
While Aubrey is doing incredibly well with her swimming, as parents, we believe her biggest achievement by far is overcoming the deep fear and anxiety she used to struggle with. She has gone from being painfully self-conscious to walking out in front of hundreds of people, ready to race with genuine confidence and self-belief. That transformation is 100% down to Charlotte, and we will be forever grateful. The entire team working alongside Charlotte is absolutely incredible; they are always lovely and genuinely care about what they do. It would be impossible to find a coach who gives more than Charlotte. She loves these kids like they are her own, and I have no doubt she would drop everything if one of them ever needed her. She will forever be their biggest cheerleader!

Charlotte is truly the most amazing swim teacher and business owner, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Everything she does comes from such a genuine care for the children. She thinks about every child as an individual, and that shines through in every single swim lesson. She treats everyone with kindness, patience and respect, and she constantly goes above and beyond to make sure the children feel supported, encouraged and confident.

When I have had difficulties with my autistic daughter, Esme, Charlotte became so much more than just her swim teacher. She took the time to have a phone call with me, genuinely listen to what I was going through, sympathise with me and offer guidance and support wherever she could. That meant more to me than I can put into words. You simply don’t come across many people who care that deeply.

In the pool, she has such a wonderful way with the children. She encourages them, challenges them and pushes them to achieve more, but always in such a positive and supportive way. She knows exactly when they need that little bit of encouragement and somehow brings out the very best in them.

And it isn’t just Charlotte herself. She has created a truly wonderful team and a beautiful swim company, filled with teachers who clearly share her passion and dedication. She should be incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished.

Honestly, I will be so sad when the time eventually comes for my two children to finish their swimming lessons. Charlotte is the best of the best, and finding another swim teacher like her would be impossible.

Thank you, Charlotte, for everything you do, for the way you care about the children, and for the difference you make to so many families. You are truly one in a million. ❤️
